Undrafted stars reuniting with 9-time champion on WWE SmackDown would hurt AJ Styles and The O.C. 2023

AJ Styles has returned to WWE looking revitalized. It is unknown when The Phenomenal One will compete for the first time in 2023, but everyone is eagerly anticipating his return. The O.C. underwent a much-needed transition by being drafted to SmackDown.

In this week’s episode of the blue brand, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will battle The Viking Raiders. After that, however, AJ Styles and his allies have several options. If they engage in competition with another faction, it should be one that has not yet reformed. The WWE should match The O.C. against a reformed Hurt Business.

If undrafted stars reunite with WWE SmackDown’s 9-time champion, AJ Styles and The O.C. are in peril.

Following the WWE Draft, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin are presently free agents, while Bobby Lashley has moved to SmackDown. Before bringing the band back together, MVP should negotiate a deal to transport them to the blue brand.

Fans have been requesting the faction’s reunion for some time, and WWE has even teased it through the former United States Champion’s discreet backstage interactions.

MVP could include Omos to add a true X-factor to the “new” Hurt Business and obtain the upper hand in the potential storyline with The O.C. It could be an extension of AJ Styles and Bobby Lashley’s singles conflict, with The Nigerian Giant teaming up with his former opponent against his “big brother.”

AJ Styles and Bobby Lashley can challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship.

The respective leaders of The O.C. and The Hurt Business are among SmackDown’s top male performers. Both Styles and Lashley expect to face Roman Reigns in the near future.

The Tribal Chief has not engaged in a feud with either individual since the beginning of his reign as Universal Champion, so both matches will be fresh. A plot involving AJ Styles may incorporate The Phenomenal One’s real-life feud with Paul Heyman, whereas Bobby Lashley was one of the last men to submit Roman Reigns cleanly.

The Head of the Table will presumably continue to hold the title of WWE Universal Champion. Regardless, faction warfare between The Bloodline, The O.C., The Hurt Business, and even The LWO would be an entertaining way to distinguish this summer’s SmackDown.
