Love Is Blind hosts fired? Fans want these alumni to replace Nick and Vanessa Lachey 2023
Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey are rumored to be leaving Love Is Blind, with alumni Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton being considered as replacements. According to the Daily Mail, the presenters’ poor handling of sensitive topics during a recent live reunion event and tardy resolution of technical problems may have sealed their fate.
“There have always been rumors about replacing them, especially now after the live reunion special, which was a disaster on so many levels.”
Numerous viewers criticized Vanessa’s evident bias against male contestants and her insistence that the couples have children. The couple’s treatment of the sensitive issues on the show sparked rumors that a change might be required to maintain high ratings.
“People want to relate to the hosts, but they cannot relate to Vanessa or Nick at this time,” said a source on-set.
Jody Santos, the paparazzo Nick assaulted in March 2022, has also weighed in, alleging that Vanessa encouraged her husband to assault her. “These people are role models and should know better,” said Santos.
Despite the controversy surrounding the show’s presenters, Love Is Blind continues to be a viewer favorite. Netflix has not commented on the allegations, but executives have apologized for the technical issues that occurred during the live reunion event. It remains to be seen whether the Lacheys will continue to host the program or whether fan favorites Lauren and Cameron will take over.
