Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski made a statement lamenting the death of their co-star on “John Wick.” The statement provided to Variety stated, “We are very grieved and heartbroken over the passing of our dear friend and colleague Lance Reddick.
He was the epitome of professionalism and a pleasure to deal with. Our hearts and prayers are with Stephanie, his children, and the rest of his family and friends. The film is dedicated to his memory. He will be sorely missed”.
In a statement, ‘The Wire’ creator David Simon described Reddick as “a great professional, a loyal partner, a beautiful person, and a friend. This is very heartbreaking and far, far, far too soon for any of us who knew and loved him to consider.”
