The producers of The Late Late Show with James Corden have revealed that Beyoncé is the one artist they regret not having on “Carpool Karaoke” during the eight-year run of the program.
Rob Crabbe admitted to The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday (April 27) that “it would have been nice to have Beyoncé in the car.”
Ben Winston, the executive’s producing partner, went on to explain that Beyoncé operates differently than most artists, which explains why she never rode as a passenger.

Winston added, however, that there were no regrets about missing a Beyoncé exclusive.

Over the years, host James Corden has persuaded Lady Gaga, One Direction, Britney Spears, Ariana Grande, Stevie Wonder, and Bad Bunny to sing along with him as he drives to work.
While Mariah Carey was the first celebrity to consent to the segment in 2015, the last episode of “Carpool Karaoke” aired earlier this week with Adele surprising her friend by driving him to work and reflecting on his eight years hosting the popular late-night show.
