Miley Cyrus expresses ‘thanks’ for Flowers’spending 12th week internationally at #1′ on social media 2023

Monday, Miley Cyrus took to social media to convey her gratitude for Flowers remaining at the top of the global rankings.

The 30-year-old pop star posted a brief video clip on Instagram that featured a portion of the song while she wore a white swimwear and black lingerie.

“Thanks to YOU, Flowers is spending a 12th week at number one worldwide. Miley wrote “Gratitude” as a caption for her approximately 205 million Instagram followers.

Miley donned a white one-shoulder, one-piece swimsuit and black heels in her music video while flexing and beaming for the camera.

In the background, she appeared in black lingerie, while a hairless male appeared in the foreground.

Miley complemented her ensemble with white spectacles and vibrant red lipstick.

Last month, the Hannah Montana star also posted on Instagram when Flowers reached “#1 for the eighth week.”

Flowers was issued by Columbia Records on January 12 as the debut single from Miley Cyrus’ eighth studio album Endless Summer Vacation.

The song’s lyrics reference Miley Cyrus’s relationship with her 33-year-old ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, and their brief marriage.

The former couple met while filming The Last Song in 2009. They had a sporadic relationship for years prior to their December 2018 wedding.

They separated in August 2019 and divorced in February 2020, and admirers believe Flowers’ lyrics are about their marriage.

In Flowers, she sings, “Built a home and watched it burn,” which may be a reference to the couple’s Malibu property that was destroyed in the 2018 Woolsey Fire.

In addition, Miley’s new song Muddy Feet prompted social media backlash against her Australian ex, with fans speculating that the song’s lyrics refer to his infidelity.
